Using Cyberduck to connect to dw2

Is current?:
Yes

Go to menu "File", "Open Connection...". Choose "SFTP" from the drop-down menu and enter "dw2.psyc.virginia.edu"  as the server, 22 as the port, and use your project implicit username and password.  Click "Connect".

You can now browse the remote file system as you would in Windows Explorer or Finder.

In the future, you can select menu "Bookmarks" and either add a new bookmark or select this server from the history.

Cyberduck asked me if I wanted to "allow" something.  I said yes, and it worked.

When try to connect using the information provided above I get the following error message...

"Connection Failed: The requested name is valid but no data of the requested type was found."

Any thoughts on what may be going wrong? Do I need to enter a more specific IP address to connect to?

Is this still happening?

With the updated IP address "pi.psyc.virginia.edu" I was able to connect without any major issues.

This entry has been edited to help users connect to the dw2 test server instead of pi. The pi server has been repurposed.
